Doel, a well-known urbex location. Or should I say tourist location? The only difference is that there is no tourism information point. I could still get some nice shots but there were big groups visiting the almost abandoned town.

This location was really interesting, especially because when we went by for the first time we saw a big fence with barbed wire on top. Not a very warm welcome!

Het Zegel Urbex
Het Zegel, an abandoned factory in the middle of the city. This place started out as as candle factory but when that failed it was used as storage and after that it produced postage stamps and train tickets.
Swamp Hotel Mechelen
This hotel lies “deep” within the forest in Mechelen. (actually just a short walk from the road :P) The plan was to build a big hotel here, but because of the wet ground they could not finish the building, the first few stories were already build but not more.
Gameforce 2017
Gameforce, a yearly gaming event in Mechelen, Belgium. This was my first time visiting and I enjoyed it! (except paying extra for toilets, lol) I’ve made a lot of photos that day and saw loads of cool cosplay that day! Visited on October 1st, 2017.
